As the war between Israel Defense forces and Hezbollah group based in Lebanon escalates, a looming crisis awaits as 1 million people have been displaced internally in Lebanon.
Families are fleeing for safety in shelters and Mount Lebanon. Israel had given relocation orders to communities in South Lebanon as they continue with their ground and air attacks on Lebanon.

The sense of terror in Lebanon is palpable, families are paralysed by the fear of the unknown, schools gymnasiums and cultural centers are used as shelters as new bombings occur daily. Infrastructure is completely destroyed and the roads are completely jammed making it difficult for people to flee.
Nearly 2,000 people have been killed by the Israeli air attacks among them children. 8,000 people have been injured and over 4,000 residential buildings destroyed as the air strikes hit dozens of towns.
Lebanon hosts the largest number of refugees in the world including 1.5 million Syrian refugees, 23,026 Palestinian refugees from Syria and 180, 000 Palestine refugees. Isreal attacked Ein EL Helwe, the largest refugee camp in Lebanon killing 7 people and 4 children.
1/5th of Lebanon’s population has been displaced, while 300,000 others lack access to clean water due to air strikes that damaged the water.
70% of the 851 active shelters are almost full to capacity as people continue to seek shelter at Mt.Lebanon which is a full day travel from Mt. Lebanon.
