Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino on Sunday, July 23, narrated how the Police subjected him to inhuman treatment after his arrest on Tuesday, July 18 at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
The second term Legislator said he was handcuffed, blindfolded and thrown in the boot of a Subaru car and driven into the middle of nowhere and put in solitary confinement for three days.
He accused the Police of not providing meals, blocking his Family and Legal representation from accessing him for the entire three days he was detained. The MP maintained that he was innocent and the only reason he was arrested was for fighting for the rights of Kenyans.

He reassured Political like minds, Pundits and opponents alike, that despite the torture, he would continue with anti-government protests until the cost of living and prices of basic commodities were brought down.
